THE SUN, THE MOON, AND THE STAR

I was asked to make a design about the solar system or whats inside the solar system. Since i'm not good at making planets i decided to make this design. To explain what it is will be hard because it is used mostly for tattoos. But for me i think it means that the sun, moon and vast array of stars littering the night sky were all essential in generating life on Earth. And from my opinion the sun, moon and the stars is the most beautiful thing God made (besides Earth and us ofc).

Here is some interesting facts about the sun, the moon and the stars:

The Sun gives life to the Earth and the Earth would have no life at all without the energy it receives from the Sun. The Sun is only one of millions and millions of stars in the Galaxy. We see it as a large round red ball only because we are much closer to the Sun than to any of the other stars. The Sun measures 2,715,395 miles (4.730,005 kilometres) right round (circumference). The Sun is 92.96 million miles or 149.6 million kilometres from the Earth.

The Moon was probably made 4.5 billion years ago when a large object hit the Earth and blasted out rocks that came together to orbit round the Earth.  They eventually melted together, cooled down and became the Moon.  For another 500 million years pieces of rock kept striking aginst the surface of the Moon.  All parts of the Moon are lit in turn by the Sun.  As it rotates round the Earth we see different fractions of the sunlit half, or hemisphere, of the Moon.  These are known as the phases of the Moon, or lunar phases.   The Moon changes from a thin crescent to a full moon and back again to a crescent in one month (actually 29 days, which is a lunar month). The Moon is 239,000 miles, or 384,000 kilometres away from the Earth. The Moon is much smaller than the Earth, with a diameter of 2159 miles, or 3476 kilometres.  It is airless, waterless and lifeless.

The stars of the night sky have astonished humanity dating back to the earliest civilizations, even dictating religious beliefs, societal norms and architecture. These heavenly bodies have also inspired philosophers, provided direction to weary travelers navigating long journeys and deposited the very fabric of our existence. A star is a massive, bright, sphere of very hot gas called plasma which is held together by its own gravity. The nearest star to Earth is the Sun, which is classified as a G2 yellow dwarf star. Though, there are some stars that are 100 times more massive than our Sun. These stars also can output about a million times more energy than our sun, while still maintaining the same radius. Eta Carinae is one of the largest stars in the known galaxy, it is designated as a hyper-giant.

However in some countries you rarely get to see stars at night. Why? Because of  light pollution from streetlights, buildings, general city life - which goes on 24/7. This light goes up into the atmosphere, where it gets reflected back to the ground, and so it outshine the stars.
